Overview

We really hate returns and exchanges. Mainly because it is the most dangerous part of our business. You ever open your mail box and look at the package sitting there, all the while wondering if today is the day that some whacko is going to try to punch your ticket? We get that feeling every time we open the box… 

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, you are screwed, so don’t even try.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, which lets face it, you probably threw away right off the bat. Right now, you’re probably debating going through your trash to find it. Don’t do it. Just give it up.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Could we just look up your order from your address? Probably, but we aren’t going to. Now jump through the hoop like a good Sea World dolphin. 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Keep in mind that we are giving you 30 days to return your item, so don’t be pissed if we take 30 to issue the refund

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days of us receiving your item back.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us as follows:

First, try sending a smoke signal. Then, learn morse code and tap out a message at your nearest telegraph station. When all that fails to make things happen, email us at obscurecitylllc@gmail.com.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. Guess what… Everything on the site is on sale! MuuHaHaHa!!

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at obscurecitylllc@gmail.com and send your item to: ObscureCityLLC, Bad Customer Service Dept., PO Box 1990, Rock Springs, WY  82902. Keep in mind, this address is just for returns. Pipe bombs, anthrax laden envelopes, “Come To God” propaganda and the such should be mailed to a different department.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you are not eligible for a refund you cheap bastard. If your item was damaged or is defective, you may qualify for an exchange, but no gift refunds will be issued… ever. On a side note, if your item was sent directly to you and marked as a gift in our system, we will not be sharing the actual purchasers information with you either, so don’t ask.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, any refund or exchange will be issued to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, first email us at: obscurecityllc@gmail.com, so we can try to convince you to keep your item. Send your item to: ObscureCityLLC, Bad Customer Service Dept., PO Box 1990, Rock Springs, WY  82902. Again, keep in mind, this address is just for returns. Pipe bombs, anthrax laden envelopes, “Come To God” propaganda and the such should be mailed to a different department.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
